Top Five Refurbished Phone Deals This Christmas

Need an idea for a gift you can get a loved one this Christmas? Maybe you’ve been thinking about getting them a phone, but the prices of the latest flagships have been too far out of your budget. Christmas is an expensive time of year, so you will want to cut down on costs when you can. To do this, we would recommend buying a refurbished phone.

Refurbished phones are more cost-effective and environmentally friendly than brand new devices as they go to another user instead of getting left as e-waste on a landfill site. Many of them are also virtually indistinguishable from brand new devices, so you don’t need to worry about getting something that looks and works less than perfectly. We’ve compiled a list of our top five refurbished phone deals on our selection of refurbished devices that you can take advantage of before Christmas Day, but don’t forget that there’s plenty more on our site than just the ones we mention in this list.

Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus

Arguably one of the best Android devices currently on the market, you can get a refurbished Galaxy S10 Plus for around £500 from Music Magpie, which is significantly lower than the original price of the Galaxy S10 Plus, which was £1,099 at the time of its release. This is less than half of its original price, so don’t miss out.

Huawei P30 Pro

Huawei’s pioneering P30 Pro is one of the most iconic flagship devices of this year, impressing phone users with a groundbreaking camera setup. You can get your hands on this sought-after device from Music Magpie for around £660. This phone was around £899 when it first came out, so you’ll be saving yourself just over £200 if you opt for a refurbished phone instead. Just bear in mind that Huawei are still blacklisted by the US government meaning that Huawei have been forbidden to do business with any US-based company. This has led to Google to withdraw from Huawei's Android license. This has affected the Huawei devices which were announced after Huawei's US trade ban, namely the Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro which were released without access to Google apps. However, older devices are still running Android and have access to YouTube and Gmail. The Huawei P30 Pro will still function and have access to Google Play.

iPhone 11

Apple released their greatly anticipated iPhone 11 in September this year, which was only a few months ago, however there are some refurbished iPhone 11 devices available on the market already. You can get a refurbished iPhone 11 from Envirofone for around £640, which is a significant saving of around £90. This is an offer which is too good to ignore.

OnePlus 7 Pro

The OnePlus 7 Pro was one of the highlights of 2019 with its all-screen display, strong performance, rapid charging and 90Hz screen refresh rate. You can get a refurbished OnePlus 7 Pro from Envirofone for just £550. This will give you a saving of around £100, so if you want this phone, make sure you get it before the offer goes.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus was one of the biggest showstoppers of 2019, with a huge amount of power, a large battery and of course the option to use an S pen on the 6.8-inch display. You can get a refurbished Galaxy Note 10 Plus from Music Magpie for around £780, which will give you a massive saving of £200.
